What a jackpot slot is and why its RTP should be read differently.
A jackpot slot offers a large fixed or growing prize on top of regular payouts. In progressive slots, part of each bet feeds a shared prize pool, so the base RTP can be lower — some of the "return" is concentrated in a rare jackpot that hits very infrequently. This makes such slots highly volatile: play them understanding the jackpot chance is tiny, and do not rely on it as a strategy.
