Why a high max win almost always means high volatility.
Max win is the payout ceiling, usually expressed as a bet multiplier (e.g. 5,000× or 50,000×). A high ceiling looks attractive, but it is a statistical extreme: the odds of reaching it are tiny, and such slots are almost always high-volatility with long dry spells. Judge a slot by RTP, volatility and ceiling together, not by one number.
