How provably-fair technology lets you verify the fairness of each round.
Provably fair uses cryptography (typically HMAC-SHA256) and a set of seeds: a server seed, a client seed and a nonce. The round's result is computed in advance from these values, and after play the server seed is revealed so you can recompute and confirm the outcome was not tampered with. This is the key difference between crypto casinos and the "black box" of classic slots.
