Why "red is due after a run of black" is a dangerous mistake.
The gambler's fallacy is the belief that past independent outcomes affect future ones: for example, that after a run of losses a win is "due". In provably-fair games and slots, each round is independent and probability does not "build up". The wheel does not remember previous spins. This illusion pushes players to raise stakes and chase losses — a leading cause of fast losses. Sensible play rests on understanding that outcomes are random.

Remember: the casino has a mathematical edge over time, and provably-fair results are random. Any strategy manages risk but does not change expected value. 18+.
