What hit rate is and how it ties to volatility and the feel of play.
Hit frequency (hit rate) is the share of spins that produce any win at all. A slot with a 25% hit rate pays on average every fourth spin, but this says nothing about payout size: many wins can be smaller than the stake. High frequency creates a feeling of "lively" play but does not mean profitability. Hit frequency and volatility together describe a slot's character better than either metric alone.

Remember: the casino has a mathematical edge over time, and provably-fair results are random. Any strategy manages risk but does not change expected value. 18+.
